Material change is inherent in all these pieces. In some it is present as a possibility: charcoal might burn away, heat might melt wax and reveal the underlying wire skeleton, while others are the end product of material transformation. Gelatin- a material that gives our bodies structure- goes through an aging process when left to dry but melts in contact with skin.
